I successfully copied the Test Burner files using the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS data disc method of Scuba’s tutorial for RecordNow Max. This plays in my set top player. I have split a movie using Derrow's tutorial and it plays in IfoEdit under the DVD player (both parts). I then tried to burn the disc without imaging it. I did close IfoEdit and reopen it and get the VTS sectors just before I burned it. I did not use the Remove RCE function as this is an American DVD and I am in the US. The program burned almost ¾ of the DVD and then terminated with the following error: “Untitled Job1 failed: terminated with errors”
Do you have any ideas why this might happen? Is it worth trying to “image” the file and reburning it using the “image” technique or did I do something wrong elsewhere. I followed the tutorial for splitting a DVD to 2 DVD-Rs to the letter and it does play in IfoEdit with the player. I followed everything else in the checklist. Should I retry this file using the image or totally begin from the beginning?
