Hello
I have yet another problem encoding Israely DVD titles.
besides the fact that they are terebly interlaced in some parts and progressive on other parts, which decomb handles the interlaced parts very well, encoding it in the original resolution 720 x 576 gives a result of a movie with the wrong aspect ratio.
When I open the .VOB files in WMP I have a resolution of 768 x 576 ( I built a special tool for that ), the aspect ration is just fine.
I don't know where the problem is ?? no matter how I open the files, virtualDub or any other encoder I still get the wrong aspect ratio.
I can resize it back to the original dimensions but that's the wrong way to do things.
I tried IfoEdit but it doesn't have that resolution in it.
Please HELP...
