"new post" cookie doesn't work anymore?

in the last couple of days, all the threads and sections have indications like there are new posts (they're all yellow), was working fine before that.

i can't tell which threads i read and which i didn't :(

a known issue?

That's where I usually start my day... Of course it's much quicker nowadays since I'm one of the doom9-hosts. :D
