Hello guys, I just started using Gnot with Divx5 following Doom9 guide. I'd need some hints on using it:
1) No problem up to the finish of Audio encoding. The guide says that I don't have to turn Gnot off if not explicitely said, but it is never.....said. What I have to do after audio encoding? Keep Gnot on and proceed with Virtualdub? Or what?

2) Frameserving. When this has to be used? After video encoding to mix Video and Audio?

Thanks for your replies

You do not need to have Gknot running when doing encoding with VirtualDub. As soon as you save your .avs file, feel free to close Gknot.
And question #2 - you cannot feed VDub directly with vobs, so you have to make dvd2avi project first, later you have to save an .avs file (you do this in Gknot) and frameserve Vdub with the .avs file you have just created. You will not be able to do any encoding in Vdub unless you framesrve it....

Hope that helps
