Backup of Duel Lyer DVD on DLT with the help of IFOEDIT and IMGTOOL

I want to make duel leyer dvd image on DLT 4000 or 7000 with the help of Ifoeit or impgtool , but when i'm trying to make image with ifoedit there was a worring show that image size is larger then 4.7 gb and can not fit on a dvd rom. :confused:

This is a new enhancement in IfoEdit v0.9 !
It checks the DVD size before creating the image, if it will exceed the regular size of a DVD-R.

If you want to create a bigger image anyway, use an older version of IfoEdit. The older versions doesn't have such a checking routine.

Or you can wait for the next release. It will contain an option to switch this checking off.

Thanks Derrow, But how can we define end sector in layer 0 when creating control data file and ddp file for dlt ... please help.

I guess, you must that specify in your authoring tool anywhere.
I never made DLT movie tapes.
I'm just backing up DVDs to DVD-Rs.
