I have just downloaded DVD2SVCD as i am interested in ripping DVD's. This is my first attempt at ripping a DVD and already I have encountered problems. Everything has been configured using the guide which i printed but when I click on the GO button nothing seems to happen and i get a message saying initializing finished.
Is there something that I am doing wrong or that i have missed out??
Any help would be much appreciated

I now know what the problem was in that on the dvd rip tab Use Internal Routines was selected, so I changed this and selected Use vStrip and it worked first time - sweet!! I am currently in the middle of my first dvd rip - Scary_Movie 2 however it seems to be taking years to complete. How long does the whole process take from start to finish (roughly)?? My current system is:-
P3 700
128mb RAM
40 GB hd (5400 rpm)
LG CD-RW & DVD Combo Drive
Any info would be a help
