DVD2SVCD would create always CD images of about 760-780 Mb, no matter how severely I specify the spliting into CDs
must not be bigger than 700Mb/80min.
It happens every time I try to rip/encode a movie with DVD2SVCD, but the same disturbing result occurs when using DVDx 1.8a.
How comes up? I'm the only one with these too big to burn files? I haven't found any question concerned with this issue in the FAQ nor in the forum. What should I do?
Thanks

I have the same random problem. Sometimes the file is reported from Nero as 836 Mbyte and too long in time, 80:04:00 min. which exedees the max 80 min. of time allowed on CD. I have found a temporary solution with XXcopy (you can find it on the web). I use the /SZ switch to copy truncate a file during copy and reduce the size to 833Mbyte which comse out to be 79:59:67 minutes. just right for the 80 min. CDs.
This is still acceptable if the second CD is too long, but not on the first CD. If anyone can explain why this happens and how to get around it is well appreciated.
Thanks
