TMPGEnc winxp

Hi to all.I ripped a movie using smartripper and win98se but I recently converted to winxp pro.The problem is I can load the d2v file in TMPGEnc but when I try to load the audio I get an error message saying TMPGEnc has encounted a problem and needs to close.What has gone wrong?Also I heard that I might need an aspi layer what is this and where do I get it? Thanks for any advice.

First - try making another d2v project and see if it helps.
Second - if you need ASPI - look into Doom9's download section - grab these two files : ASPI checker and ForceASPI (make sure to click SHow Me More)....
