Derrow,

I seem to be having problems with your latest release -

I am trying to strip different language IDs out of a menu VOB -

IFOedit gives me all the relevant tick boxes etc but then it just writes a new IFO and leaves the menu vob intact with all the crap language stuff still there :-(

I really need the space taken up by those excessive IDs -

any suggestions?

are you giving it a differnt directory to do the menu in? .. it wont re-write the vob/ifo in the same directory ... ( but it does go through the motions and thats a bit confusing ) .. you make it write to another dir .. then just copy the new stuff back on top of the old stuff ... i do alot of get VT sectors when i do this just to insure that the ifo knows where everything is each time.

heres a strange thing - I tried to rip the IDs using version .89 . and everything went swimmingly :-)

Any thoughts derrow?

Very strange.

0.89 had the destination directory bug.
but 0.9 should work great.

Maybe you stripped all LUs out ?

I have the same problem, strip languages and/or vob id's in IfoEdit 0.9 and select destination directory. Processing is performed but no .vob file is written to the new directory and during processing IfoEdit reports that it is reading vts_xx_xx_x but there is nothing displayed for output file name.

Strange, it seems that just WinXP users have this problem.

I'm still on it, to get a solution for that.

I'm a WinXP Pro user myself. The last 2 weeks been knocking my head against the wall because I can't keep any menu's at all.
With American Pie 2 it has a 62 meg 01_0.vob.After get VTS Sectors it changes it to 100k.
Don't know if this is related to the problem were talking about or I'm just having a brain fart and missed something else I'm doing wrong.

Wouldnt it be possible to use 0.89 version to edit video_ts.ifo to get rid of the extra id's and language menus in the video_ts.vob....and then keep on using 0.90 version for stripping the audio and subtitle streams from the vts_xx_x.ifo and the corresponding vob's (naturally)......Would this create some kind of incompatibility between the vob.s!! Anybody got an idea??? If not ....could this be a solution to get around it for now for us WinXP users, until a newer bug free version comes out:) ...Derrow could you comment on this??

I think you will have to go back to Version 0.86 to get rid of this problem.
