you really want to try this .. i'll warn ya now .. you loose entire days just sitting at your computer moving buttons , creating links .. etc
hehe ... well first off your gona need a authoring program , and unless you happen to drive a Lamborghini ( took me 3 google searches to figure how to spell that ) your not gona have the pocket change to get a professional program .. but their are some cheaper more afforadble ones ...
Ulead DVD Workshop - BY FAR THE CHEAPEST $48!! ... but your very limited in your menus .. no decent surround sound .. and it re-encodes your video. demo avilable
SpruceUp - good products ... both SpruceUp and Maestro come from this company ... the apple bought the company and their DVD products are no where to be found ... some demos may still be hanging around a few public mirrors ... $150-$300 ( if they wer still for sale )
Pinnacle Impression DVD PRO - is the cheapest authoring program with support for multichannel audio that I'm aware of. I haven't tested it myself but from the specs it looks good. Price around $500
Sonic makes more than a few products - They are all fairly good but none cheap ... i have used a few of these and i must say , Reel DVD version is almost is almost equal to ScenartistNT - NO demos for anything.
DVDit! LE to PE Upgrade Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $389.00
DVDit! LE to PE Upgrade RT2500 Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $199.00
DVDit! LE to SE Upgrade Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $98.99
DVDit! PE Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $499.00
DVDit!SE Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $269.00
DVDit! SE to PE Upgrade Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $299.00
DVR DVD-R/RW,CD-R/RW Writer/DVDit! SE Pioneer Digital Video Disk DVD $669.00
REEL DVD Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring $999.00
Scenartist - the top program ... another Sonic product but they do not sell that to the public ... the have a list of resellers but they all ask to e-mail or call for a quote .. most of the time you have to buy a turnkey system , but i have heard it's somewhere in the $25k area ... if you want a DVD that is 100% the same as what you rent in the video store ( well not dual layer ) .. this is it.
if you search the net you may **find** a copy of somthing .. but you will find NO help with that part here.
