Hi all. I did some testing with subtitles now and have some questions concerning vobsub and submux (I have Version 2.09 installed).
1. I have a divx-avi file without sound and used submux to add subtitles in srt-format. This works so far. Using media player 6.4 for playback, the subs are displayed correct.
When playing this file on a different PC, the subs are not displayed anymore.
Has the VobSub-Package to be installed to get the subs displayed in media player?
2. On the first PC, where the subs are displayed correctly, I used NanDub to add a VBR-MP3 file. After that, I have sound in the dvix-file, but the subs are not displayed anymore.
Is Nandub destroying the subs?
3. When using Vobsub-Filter in VirutalDub to add subs during encoding, do I still need vobsub installed on every PC I use for playback?
