ok, i have a divx movie with only a couple of keyframes... is there a way to change it without reencoding? Now i cant search in the movie because it takes sooo long, plz help!!

Open Virtualdub and before you select your avi enable the extended open options. Then open the avi and select "re-derive keyframes" or something. VDub should then re-build the entire movie correctly. After it's finished just save it again under a new name.

Be sure to have a max keyframe interval set at no more than 500 frames when encoding. (I use 300 myself, some go lower some go higher).
