HI,
There is a mention on the CCE/IfO edit guide on putting 2 movies on one dvd(guide) and playing on a stand alone player. Does anyone know the name of the guide this is referring too? I looked, but had trouble finding it.

Thanks

there's no such guide per se. However, it should be no problem if you follow the regular DVD authoring guides. All you have to do is to import the 2nd movie and create a menu that allows access to both movies. Chaptering, subtitles, multiple audio, etc remains the same (though you have rather tight space restrictions).

As of now i have not used any chaptering, menus, etc...just the main movie. So if i understand you correctly, just import both movies in maestro as usual and create one menu to let me choose which movie to play. I guess i need to take another look at your guides on making a menu and how to keep the audio with the correct movie.

This would be a nice guide for someone to write someday :) (hint hint)

A guide for an instance where one has ripped e.g. 2 episodes of TV-series from different DVD:s and wants to put them onto a single DVD would be very valuable. I understand that one can use even some more simplictic DVD-creator for such purpose (I found the Maestro Guide a bit too difficult in this sense) as well - if so, can one import two different sets of vobs into such an authoring program?

Thank you for any help,

I tried following the manual that comes with maestro for creating the menu, but nothing seems to happen when i select the button. It shows the target for button 1 is movie 1 and button 2 is movie 2.

Is there a guide for us dummy's simpler to use then the one that comes with maestro on making a menu to point to 2 different movies on 1 disc? Cause i must be missing something!!

Any help would be great!!

I dunno how to do this in maestro.. But in spruce up its really easy. In spruce up you would just import both m2v's and ac3's.. Then name a button for each of those on your root menu page. Its that simple in SpruceUp.
