Hi there,
Up to now I've been encoding about 15 feature films to divx 4.x using dvd2avi/vfapi/virtualdub. Most of them were no problem. However especially the latest 5 had audio async problems. In two cases the audio even had to be stretched slightly. Audio was extracted with smartripper or dvd2avi and encoded to mp3 with either vob2audio or Besweet. cbr or vbr made no difference
i would like to know what can cause the audio to change its length during an encoding process, and , secondly, is there anything i can do to minimize the probability of audio async.
thanks in advance for anykind of suggestion.
cheers kilgore
