Hello

I have been doing quite alot of remuxing with Rempeg files and the main VOBs from DVDs. The good news is that it works 98% of the time except when I try to remux The World is Not Enough. Chapter 29-30 gets the blocky picture problem (The rest of the chapters are crystal clear). I Rempeged the video in 352X480 and 720X480 resolution and both come out crystal clear. The problem starts when I run it through Ifoedit(0.9) to remux the video and audio together. The blocky picture problem shows up both times. Is Ifoedit creating the blocky picture problem? Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Probably.

To get it straight. The remux function does not really multiplex the video stream with the VOB.

It just exchanges the old video-stream inside the VOB with the new video stream.
So if you transcoded the video with strange options like a new picture size of 352*480, then such problems might apear.

Please try to use the same options in ReMPEG2, that I have presented on my guide 'Transcoding a movie with ReMPEG2'.
