2nd_pass dindn't start

hi everybody,

i created a joblist in virtual dub 1.4.9 for 2pass encoding... the first pass run successfully but the 2nd didn't start... still waiting.

what did i wrong? do i have to set an special option or such like this?

Maybe I am misunderanding you but the 2nd pass doesn't start automatically (at least not in version 1.4.6). After you did the first pass go to video-->compression and select the 2nd pass in the configuration of the divx-codec. Save the avi again but under a different name as in your first pass.

i open virtual dub... make my configuration for divx5, select 2 pass, first pass... save that to a file 'blabla_1stpass' but also select the add job checkbox... then i do the same again just for second pass... again add as job...
then in the job list, i press 'start' ... the first pass runs succesfully but when it is finished the second one doesn't start... it still display 'waiting' and i have to press 'start' again :((

can u help me?

Tried it yesterday exact the same way here as described in the divx.com guide section for 4.12. Works here perfect.
