Any thoughts on adding a miniDVD capability as well ?
Lot of players play miniDVDs and in any case a lot of us would like to preserve the AC3 soundtrack. Most of the steps would still apply except there wont be any audio processing reqd and the muxing will be to make vobs instead of mpegs.
I have used the DVD2AVI in 1.0.6 build 4 and it worked well with one DivX avi while failed ( CCE froze ) for another DivX avi. Also it would be nice if DVD2AVI allowed the ability to only get video from avi with a seperate audio track supplied. This will be useful in the case when the AVI has a wave embedded mp3 track ( Most of the ViTE DivX avis that you get from usenet ). In that case I can only ask DVD2AVI to read in video from the avi. I could also seperate the audio and strip off the wave header and then provide the audio track seperately.
