Hi!

I would like to have permanent sub on a DVD rip I've just did of Swordfish.
I've got the vobfiles of the movie and the same ifo file on my hard drive but when I try to open them in vobsub I get this error after indexing: Cannot read, either locked dvd or truncated/missing files!
Can someone plz help me?

do U get the same error ? (last version doesn't need the ifo file).
If so, ur rip went wrong and th eonly way to do it right again will be ripping the DVD again, for instance with Vstrip (last version).
Vstrip never lets me down.........

it's one problem... I rented the DVD and can't rip it again. And don't know if I have got the latest version but I do know that I have got the one that comes GordianKnot.

DL the last version of Vobsub and Vstrip and rip the movie again with Vstrip from the HD...
Sometimes Vstrip makes miracles.......Give it a try......

As I said I can't rip it again cause I rented it
MY OWN ADDITION(ukendt,moderator):
read what I wrote pal and rip the files U already have on ur HD !
Do it with Vstrip........

... and I did rip it with vstrip...
but I can try to download the latest version of vobsub...
the guide here said that I could write the "command vstrip stream.lst" to find something out if I can't press ok. but I didn't get any results when I did this.

Talking about it...

I had problems with the subs in "Mists from Avalon" Z4, so I tried VStrip...

Now I have a single *BIG* .vob, ok, the movie & audio works just fine, but I cannot rip the subs from there!!! How can I do that?

Thanks...

Charly.
