Can I frameserve a segmented avi from VirtualDub into Avi2SVCD?

Also, if I frameserve the .vdr file from VirtualDub, will it frameserve every segment (that is, if I have 3 segments from the captured AVI, will it frameserve all 3 segments automatically?)

Also, do I need to setup anything else with the AVI2SVCD app to
accepted framserved files from Virtual? I usually use CCE when I use
DVD2SVCD.

I'm sort of new to framserving.

Thanks

In my experience:
VirtualDub will frameserve all segments correctly with .vdr file

Avisynth is capable of multi-segment AVIs, (SegmentedAviSource), but it cannot properly serve segments created with VirtualDub (only first segment will be correct, and you obtain "error reading frame 0" on the second segment. SegmentedAviSource will consecutively serve multiple avis with names name00.avi, name01.avi etc, but each segment should be a separated normally playing avi file.
When you try to open the 2nd segment created with VirtualDub with WMP, you will obtain error.
These are my experiences from use of the newest Avisynth (1.05?) and older VirtualDub 1.04

This post was somewhat along the same lines. Perhaps it might help you or someone else attempting to encode multiple avis in D2S.
