You really should not be using the WMA hack. It is one of the biggest stumbling blocks in any Divx sceen to date. But since you have or have some files with it you will need at least on of two things. The Nimo Codec Pack. Or the origianl Divx 3.11 alpha archive. Either one of these can be found on most search pages. And if you are fealing really lazy they should both be on www.divx-digest.com and the 3.11 installer should be here as well.
A word on "Divx Audio". The codec has major problems and will mangle many common types of audio. And playback is often times different from machine to machine. The ACM was only included with an alpha release of the Divx3 codec and only the one time. All versions previous and since have been thankfully devoid of it. It was only a partially done hack. Alpha means that a software is to be released to a closed circle of testers for input and feed back for improvement. I do not know if they threw it out by accident or if they just threw it in with the final release of the Divx3 hack because they were abandoning the project. Anyway for some reason the general public got ahold of it and we have been plagued with it ever since. If you are doing your own encodes I would recommend steering well clear of this codec and using better quality more stable codecs like AC3, MP3, or Vorbis. When in doubt MP3 will never let you down.

I used DivX audio quite often in encoding the Specials of a DVD, or for the Commentary track with 20 kbit. Sounded awfull, but still better than MP3 at that bitrate.
My personal request:
I am also searching for a way to install the DivXa32.acm without using the DivX3.11 or Nimo's Package. I mean Nimo did it somehow in his setup, but I can't figure out how! I am trying to do a pure Playback Setup myself for me and my friends. So how can I register/install that divxa32.acm file properly? I don't quite understand, what that .inf file does in the Divx 3.11 release.
If there is no way araound that .inf file, how can I trigger it using the Commandline?
Anybody into that matter?
