Looking for info on Q-pel and GMC.

I have pretty much questions on qpel and gmc, but scanning of doom9's forum havent yeld me any decent info on these.


so, are there any pages around where can i find out:

1. possible impact of qpel and gmc on codec's quality/perfomance.
2. a brief description on their mechanics.

I'm asking that here because it looks like you people are familiar with at least qpel and should have some knowledge about that.

Have you tried the DivX5 features page on DivX.com? I believe it explains those options quite well.
