I've got the Scott 838 Standalone DVD Player and it seems as if it needs more and more time to start playing my SVCD's. In some cases up to 15sec.
A friend of mine got the same Player but it's newer and his needs about 1-2 sec. to start playing back the exact same CD.
Do I need to recalibrate the laser or clean the lense in order to speed up the reading process? Because when my player was new it also just took about 1-2 seconds ...
Anybody of you had the same problem and knows what to do???
