i like DVD2SVCD it keeps the quality when ripping a dvd; but there is one thing i cannot figure out. I know in TMPGEnc there is an option (no margin Keep aspect ratio) that cuts the top and bottom of the picutre of the blackbars to make the svcd fit a 4:3 tv better. is there an option in DVD2SVCD that allows me to do that?

To have a 16:9 image fit a 4:3 TV without the black bars you would need to zoom in or crop the sides of the image. If you just remove the bars the image will be stretched and won't look right at all. You will loose the video on the sides. I would suggest you look at the avisynth homepage, which you can find in the avisynth directory of DVD2SVCD in the txt file, for the syntax. You might also want to search the Avisynth forum as well.
