IfoEdit & Divx Mp4 Remux

I understand that there is talk about moving from MPEG2 to MPEG4 for DVDs. If this is true, does anyone think that it will be possible to remux Divx (or other) MPEG4 video using a tool such as IfoEdit? Of course new versions of IfoEdit, WinDVD, etc. will have to be available to create/play the files.

If this is the future, (and I'm asking, I don't know that it is) does anyone wish to speculate when that would exactly be?
