Hi all,
I'm just getting my feet wet regarding sub ripping.
Specifically, what I want to do is take a Japanese DVD (with no English subtitles)and rip the Japanese subtitles. I don't care if the subtitles themselves appear as gibberish. I'm after the start and end points for each subtitle. I then want to covert the subtitle file to a Substation Alpha file. I will then replace the gibberish with English text of what actually is being said. Then I can watch the DVD (while running Substation Alpha) and enjoy an Enlish subtitled version.
Is this possible? Am I on the right track? Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
King Subber
