Has anyone created a cover for LOTR , Monsters inc and Harry potter yet??
If they have is there any chance of a pointer as to where to find them??
I would do it myself but my artistic talents are the equivalent of picasso on speed with a blindfold..........
Cheers in advance

i use black dvd cases ( the big plastic ones ) and this is how i normly get a cover ..
goto google and search for the movie title under images.
get 2 decent picturs ( back and frount )
i use windows word .. set the page to landscape and view rulers ... then inport image from file ... the pictures go left to right .. back 0" -> 5.25" ( inches ) binder 5.25" -> 5.24" front is 5.34" -> well the edge of the page ... height is 7.25" .... it needs some trimming of the white borders but it does look good.
here .. look at http://www.lucindrea.com/fightclubcover.doc

omg, ive seen it all (/me pops some sanity pills)
someone actually uses MS Word to do artwork?
and i thought using CorelDRAW was bad...
but back on track..., you might be able to search around for a decent poster of the movie, which would do for the front, another picture, or few would do for the back, as well as a synopsis from somewhere, and a couple of good quotes, then fill the rest with the dvd 'stuff', and throw your own logo on there somewhere ;)
speaking of this stuff, ive got a loaned dvd from a friend, i was looking over the art of it, its a mel gibson movie, some soldiers one, the synopsis is from tom cruise's The Firm, and at the bottom it says something about superman and superman II being a trademark of someone...
(oh yeah, that isnt really a proper disc, it came from somewhere fishy)

Ok for the outside cover, but what about
the cd-cover?
What do you think about the circular label to
glow to the DVD?
Someone says the it could damage the dvd surface.
Any suggestion?
TIA

a cd marker :-) ... why risk destroying your dvd player or even your dvd-rom ( stand alone / computer ) just to make the cd look pretty.

why go through the bullshit of making your own cover when you can download the actual cover from http://www.cdcovers.cc/dvd_m.php
