version 1.0.7. build 1
In the bbMPEG tab there is a spot for "Movie offset seconds"
with a note next to it "[>0 is recommended.It can solve desync on dvd players ]
Mine was set to 2 when i installed. Don't know if it was an accedent or what.Have changed it to 0. Waiting for results. Could you please share what yours is set @ an if u changed it, why?

2s was really the default and it makes sense to leave it at this setting. The drive in a DVD-player needs some time to speed up just like a PC-drive, and starting the audio and videostreams immediately would make the initial seconds prone to stuttering and even some unwanted desynchronization between audio and video.

Leave it at this setting.

I set to 0 and then i made 2 movies, my dvd player had no synch problem playing this movies.

I had mine set @ 0 for my copy of Heat an it came out fine , plus i use Fireburner[verson 2.1.1] no problems at all.
but i'm in the process of doin another with it set @ 2 as Delly01 said , hope i didn't screw it up : ) If it does go outta sync i'll let you all know.
