VDub keeps closing...

I just downloaded the latest version of XviD and installed it without any problems, but VDub closes on pressing the start button in the job-controle :confused: .

this is what I did:
1. created an avs-file with gknot
2. started VDub and started the first and the sec. path (job-controle)
3. tried to start the process by pushing the start button in
the job-controle window
4. VDub closed on hitting the start-button

5. tried to use single pass->works fine

so, what could be the problem?

I would be thankfull for any help :)

I solved that problem by upgrading from VirtualDub 1.4.7 to 1.4.8
The latest version is 1.4.9 now though.
