Hi,
I'm trying to get the subtitles to work for my latest rip (Rush Hour), and have followed the vobsub guide on Doom9's page. I can "burn" them into the divx permanently without any problems, but when I try to keep them as separate files i get problems trying to display them.
I have the *.idx *.ifo and *.sub files in the same directory as the AVI (all are called the same thing btw, including the AVI), but when i open the AVI in Wimp I get no option or menu to turn on subtitles when i right-click the video. When I use the caption tool it doesnt display them either.
I'm beginning to suspect its because I am using Ogg audio, and in the Ogg guide Doom9 mentions that the file is no longer an AVI but rather an *.ogm file.
Is this why im not seeing subtitles? How do I view subtitles with *.ogm files? Do I need to mux the subtitles in with the file using graphedit? I tried opening the *.sub file in graphedit but it wouldnt open.
thanks
