creating ogm container --> washed frames?

when i create a container file (divx3) I constantly get washed frames, which appear for 2 seconds or something several times... those frames simply stand still while the rest of the picture moves on...

but its no encoding problem, since the avi file looks just fine... how's that possible, i mean GE is not reencoding at all... (hehe, would be a bit fast in 1 min *g*)

I can't honestly say I have a clue on this at this point. I abandoned Divx3 for many reasons long ago never to use it again. I might have to try something on this myself or see if someone else has had this problem. The colors in Divx3 by it's verry nature are quite often off from the original. But not as much as what you are describing. And the fact that it is not MPEG4 compliant should not be an issue here either. We will have to investigate this.

BTW what are your machine and software specs?

nevertheless... the divx file is fine. only the ogm file is messed up... without reencoding.... shouldnt be the codecs problem then?
