Hi I am trying to encode a movie from hong kong with english subtitles but I am having some trouble with vobsub. Everything seems to be working fine until the indexing reaches about 75% and then a message pops up in the dialog box where the word index use to be, saying missing files or truncated dvd. I know I have ripped all the vob files so what does this truncated dvd mean?? I know the movie only has one angle so what is going on here??? thanks

I tried subrip but it wasn't able to detect english. I chose english as the language but chinese characters still popped up. I tried choosing chinese hoping that english would pop up but unfortunately it didn't and chinese came up instead. thanks guys

When you're in Select section(s) window in VobSub Configure just push I've stripped the source files and crossed my fingers button instead of OK button and your problem should be solved.

the big button doesn't process information in IFO file (well, except for language), and processess whole VOB file from start to the end. It might have problems with DVDs with extras, angles etc., but mostly it works and does NOT make these error messages (of course ^_^)
