While those docs are great help for me and many others... sometimes its hard to find thing you need to check right now :) Like how to join mp3/ac3 and video, what interleave should be used ? Or how to select resolution... That is when you know what you are doing but need lookup some details you forgot. In many cases link to some guide can be found only inside other guide.

For example... I've done all encoding, I have ac3 file and I need join them. I know how to do that in Nandub and know that some "good" interlave value (different for mp3 and ac3) should be used. To find out interleave for ac3 I had to go into "Divx guides" -> "DivX3" -> "SBC", scroll to the point where audio/video joining is explained and there is my link "add mp3 file to your video stream". Which is not so clear for those funny people who think that this can be found under "Guides" -> "Audio related" ! :)

I think it would help a lot to create something like full index or alphabetical index on one page. Something like in downloads where you can click on full listing and have every single file linked from one page.

I will create that when I have time.. though I expect a lot of confused people.. I've had 230 html pages the last time I checked.. it's going to be a huge list

Hm, you already have a "select box" (that popping up thing on the right site of the index).

Maybe if you'd splite that up into 2 boxes, one for the major category (SBC, DVD, DiX,...) and the other get's filled dependant on that choice, maybe that could help.

Same thing could be done with the software...

I must admit, that's much work, but it can help having an easy to understand, clean structure which is even more userfriendly as it is yet.

if I can access my CD that contains all my DVD stuff again... I have a project there.. javascript explorer-like menus for the navigation bar that gives easier access.. and I wrote the index page.. it contains every page that's on my site.. will be online when I make the next update
