about hotmail

to always receive email from the forum,
you should put " doom9.org " in the always allow list of hotmail
and in fact i have the reverse problem, my email being flooded with post notifications from here.

Hotmail simply suxx.

The users aren't capable of doing that, they simply don't do it.
So hotmail is banned, "basta". It's not too hard to find a better freemail provider.

I suggest lycos or yahoo, they work stable and propperly and don't filter doom9 as spam.

wondering why stupid hotmail filters doom9.....
but,as i said, putting doom9.org in the allow list,
made me being flooded with post announcements, hundreds of email,
then maybe FOR THIS DOOM9.ORG IS BANNED!
cause the forum use to send hundreds of mails to each user!
simply turn off this, and i think doom wont be filtered anymore.

you know, spammers always change address when sending multiple emails,
doom isnt a spammer, so sends many emails with same address and get filtered
just this little bug i think.

HotMail is definitely the worst freemail provider. I like Lycos due to less spam than Yahoo. Yahoo always wants to seel me something or send me on a 14 day vacation for $49 USD:D

so please resolve this little bug..........

I haven't heard anyone else say anything about this yet. It certainly doesn't happen to me unless I subscribe to the thread. Your saying you get an email for every thread you visit?

Per the PM you sent me, you sound like your creating threads and still have "Email me when someone replies" checked. Are you sure you dont?

You are blowing this all out of proportion.

It is not a bug and it is not the reason why hotmail filters it.

If you look at the headers of the email you will realise it comes from "Nobody@...com" or something similar - this is the reason it is filtered.

Everytime you subscribe to a thread or reply to it, you will be added to a notify list. So everytime there is a reply to the thread in question you will receive an email. However, you will only receive one email if you are inactive. Everytime you visit the board this will be reset (that is, if there is a new reply u will receive notifcation of it).
