The cracked version is shit (don't use it)

Hi all,

I had some trouble with a cracked version of the new codec.
When encoding using everwicked's guide( http://www.everwicked.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=DivX_5_Guide&file=index )I got a messed up picture. It was all blocky and very very messed up. I tried all kinds of settings and filesizes.
Later I read a thread ( which is removed probably because of some obscene language)on this forum that the cracked version causes trouble. Well after reading this I uninstalled the cracked version, rebooted, and installed the 'normal' DivX 5.0 Pro (with ads). The result was a clean and smooth picture!!

My advice: Do not install a cracked version yet, because the ones out there now are very shitty!

My advice is even simpler: install either the free or the ad-supported version, or buy it.

I don't think discussions about pirated software is relevant in this forum.

Even the forum rules specify not talking about warez on this forum. Whether you use it or not is your own decission, but don't come knocking here when anything goes wrong.

After too many discussions about adware problems, flames at DXN and cracked codec all suxh threads will now be closed.

I'm sorry I didn't know that. I jus wanted inform you guys, that cracked versions don't work at all and that the people should stick to the original software.
Don't see this post as a advertisement for warez. That is not my intention.
