then someone showed me a a film created in nandub
so i read the guide and again and again
and ripped a couple of films and they came out perfect size and nice quality.
i then had to reinstall windows
i installed all the codecs
registered vfapi and run proxy off
i then rip as per the guide and all is ok untill i get to doing the 1st pass
i set the resize filters and cropping then run 1st pass
it gets to 30% and fails givving the error "unspecified error"
now i have reinstalled windows several tyimes but it always fails please help me
cause i dont want to use anyother method

Make sure you have installed divx 3.11alpha only. Not any VKI or other patches (sometimes reffered as divx 3.20 or 3.22)

As far as I remember it should be in the same directory as Nandub. Look for something with crash in it.

Oh...yep...my fault...It won't generate crash report unless it has crashed...
Well....don't know what else I can do to help you...
Hope you will find a solution...

Please read the readme.doc.
There is an option in the preferences to avoid such error messages.
They are caused by vfapi AFAIK.

well, try to use vdub and see if it happens again
or do in nandub without audio, nandub has audio problems sometime.
