VCDX failed to create image...

I am using 1.0.7 build 4 On a dual athlon MP1600, running WinXP Pro.
VCDXBuild has stopped working. It has not worked for the last couple of builds.

I have I author deluxe, but it creates .CIF files which have to be burned with EZCD. Since EZCD is the only software that has ever given me a BLUE-SCREEN (I have even tried the latest version) I can not use it.

Any Suggestions?

Have you tried reinstalling the full bundle package?
Regarding cif images - use the "finalise" tab in dvd2svcd to run cdmage and convert them to bin/cue. Ezcd 5.x is unable to burn I-Author CIF images, btw. (they are ezcd 4.x type)

I believe the problem lies in the subdirectory name G:\-=AVI&SVCD=-\BoonDockSaints\ . The & will definitely give you problems. Change that and I think you may be OK.

Q29: I used special characters like ( ) [ ] % 1 2 3 001 4 5 6 7 8 9 in my output folder name
A: Don't use these. These characters can be source of problems at least for bbmpeg. Due to sheer number of programs utilized in DVD2SVCD bundle it's better to just stick to your ABC's lest you like to gamble with your time.

Q48: I have been having sync and other problems with VOB files I have ripped with another ripper, like SmartRipper?
A: Always use the internal routines or the built in Vstrip unless you have no other choice. SmartRipper and other rippers are known to cause issues occasionally with DVD2SVCD.

#1 Don't use special characters.
#2 Always use DVD2SVCD to rip the DVD's otherwise you may have problems.
