Yes, since SVCD is burned as 2352 bytes/sector, you can fit a lot more data on the CD. Use an 80 minute CD.

Depending on the DVD player you are going to play it in it may or may not work. Also it depends if your CD-R burner supports overburning.
A file of 806mb will fit on an 80 minute disc without overburning and it should play fine in the majority of DVD players.
I can play up to 828mb fine in my Pioneer 343 and both the Apex units I have now (1500 and 5131).
Normally you shouldn't get a file larger then 806mb when you set the cd size to 800.
There is a good chance it will work, but I can't say for sure.

@reyck
is your bin/cue file size 825MB? Are you sure? Could it be 825,000KB?Pay atention that 825,000KB=805.66MB, which fits perfectly in a 80 min CDR burned using XA mode. Have a look at the newbie FAQ.

Just do this and don't think so much. If it does not work get back to us. :)

I took it that he meant 825,000KB in his message and the common mistake is to take that as 825MB. There is 1024KB per MB. He must have learned how to write megabytes from hard drive manufacturers. :D ;)
But the answer is of course, yes, a 825,000KB (805MB) SVCD will fit on a 80 minute CD just fine.
