I'm still lost in never never land and am majorly clueless when it comes to TMPGEnc and oh my goodness no freakin clue about Matrix (matrices), etc. TMPGEnc only has a FAQ with no documentation. You'd think for $48 (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/e_main.html) it'd include some documentation but NO.

I just finished touching up the Newbie Reference (http://www.edensrising.com/dvd2svcd_newbieref.html) and Advanced Reference (http://www.edensrising.com/dvd2svcd_advref.html) for DVD2SVCD 1.0.7 build 4. If a user who has any clue please fill in the blanks.

@a kind mod

in the Q&A please change the links taking out the /dvd2svcd/ within the links..no longer necessary ...long story. Also change this

Updated to 1.0.6 Build 1. Thanks to Schultz for hosting.

Hi mrbass,

have a look at the documentation attached below. It was stolen from CCE_patcher documentation. It has also some files in German, which mean that gerti67's help could be needed. Have fun.

Thanks Mozart I'll just put stuff like this in there and then EVERYONE and their dog will understand. I totally have a clearer understanding now. :confused:

7.3 Dequantization

An encoder is free to perform quantization in any way it wants (i.e. "guess", use a mirror of the decoder, or use a fuzzy quantum neural net quadratic maximum a posteri prediction estimator with entropy constrained trellis coded feedback). However, the decoder is deterministic and the rules in IS 13818-2 section 7.4 must be followed.

seriously though...I'll look through it all and try to find relevant parts for matrices. Thanks for the heads up Mozart.
