I tried capturing to Divx 5 (the standard version) with 100% quality based, fastest compression from WinTV in 640x480. Virtualdub crashed two times until I decided to re-install Divx 4.12
Up to this point I had already missed twenty minutes of a good concert on tv...
I don't want to complain, but up to now I have tried encoding with Divx 5 two times and both times it went horribly wrong - not due to faults on my side, but due to the codec not working like it was supposed to work. This is what I call a public beta, not software worth paying 30$ for...
btw. removing gator with adaware doesn't work - the pro codec checks if that proggie is installed and running...
That means for me: Bye bye Divx 5! Let's try again when you are stable and working!
