I made a SVCD via DVD2SVCD, burned the image files on CD, but any computer I put these CD in won't recognize it. It's a 2 CD rip on 2 700 Meg CD's. Is it possible that the CD's are bad, so the last sectors are unreadable and my computer can't find the disc?
Any proposals?

It appears that you have the same problem as I had. What burning program did you use? If you used CDRWin or FireBurner then chances are that is the problem cuz I had used those 2 programs and the burned CDs were not readable in either the computer nor the DVD player. Now, from Chainsaw's tip (See "Please help with BIN burning" post) , I used Fantom CD and the CD works. The only problem is that my DVD player can't play it properly, but that's just my problem. So if your DVD player can play "TRUE" SVCDs properly then Fantom CD should do it.
In my case when I burned the MPEG-2 (SVCD) files as a non-compliant VCD with Nero, I had to put a VCD header on it with TMPGEnc to "trick" the DVD player into playing it as a regular VCD. When I made the BIN file, I had used the MPEG-2 file that had the VCD header but apparently this trick doesn't work when making a BIN file to burn, or maybe I just have to do it differently, I don't know. My Panasonic RV-31 plays the video and sound but it's like in slow motion. Maybe someone who knows more about this can post a reply.

@hirsch This should of been posted in the dvd2svcd/basic section. Also if you go read the faqs around here, u'll notice what type of information that is need to be posted in a thread to help with most problems.
Well without knowing what you did or software used, if you read around you will find the section that tell you how to burn the image files and with what software to use, i have to assume u didnt use the right software at this point. But if you did use the proper burning software then check your cue files see if they work before you go to burn them see if the cue files will play on your computer. Then do what Bonzi_scores has stated and use Fantom cd or Deamon tools/Nero together ect.
