Hi guys,
Anyone knows what's the difference between movie files with extention MPS and MPG. I-Author creates mps files and works with them. Refuses to work with mpg files though. How can I get an mps files put of allready created mpg file?
Anyone knows?
Thanks

MPS is I-Author's Multiplexed Program Stream. It does differ from other PS's in packet size. The other two files that I-Author generates during the multiplex are used for play back (mainly header info).
To get around the 2600KB/s combined total with I-Author, use bbMpeg to multiplex, then mpgXmps (in the download section) to convert it, then load into I-Author. I-Author (like Philip's SVCD toolset) has problems with mpegs that have been ran through the program "pulldown".

Thanks :)
I demultiplexed mpg file with Tmpeg into mpv and mp2 and multiplexed them back with I-Author. It complained, I ignored and went with creation anyway. When I was done with the project and created image file fed to easy cd creator I got weird CDDA format in output.
Do you think that exsees of bitrate gave me that weird burn?
Spent abt 24 hours creating and trying on whole conversion and authoring with zero result and 2 coasters.
Thanks

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=mpgxmps
should be the first site that comes up after a google search.
Also, you know you have to use EZCD 4.0x nothing newer. I use 4.05. If you don't have this version, use CDMage to extract the image to bin/cue then burn it.

Use the beta version of CDMage 1.02.1 B5. Then you can use Daemon Tools to mount the bin/cue, then STH DVD player to play test the image.
You can buy an old version of EZCD for ~$5 at any discount software store.
