Where to find SBC guide

I might be f'ing retarded but... I've been doing DivX 4 encoding with GKnot for the last little while but I saw a thread posted with a link taking you to the different formats of encoding and SBC turned out to be the best so I'm curious to try it. Now where is the guide to do this. Can someone direct me in the right direction if there is even a guide and if there isn't where I can find one.

oh sorry, it isn't for divx 4?? Cuz I didn't even bother to check with the divx 3. But thanx anyways for my stupidity.

and where can I post questions, if I have any. cuz it's sounds like it could be some work but if I need help where do I post?!

The nandub and Gordian Knot forums would be the right place to ask questions about sbc encoding.

But read the guides very carefully and do some lurking in those groups before asking questions.
