hello,

i have Windows 98SE and i use (wanted to use) VobSub 2.09 i have a Pioneer DVD-116 DVD Drive. But when i choose the Vts_01_0.ifo file, then i choose the language from the list what i wanted to rip. Then I press OK. But VobSub is quits with an error message Abnormal program termination. Page fault at MFC42.DLL. What's the problem? How can i fix this problem? What i need to upgrade, or what i need to do? Please help who can!!

i'm also using Win98SE. the only problem i had with vobsub was when i chose to save the vobsub files in the same directory as my vob files. so make sure you're saving them in a different directory.

Was that dvd drive unlocked? Be sure to run a software dvd player before indexing from the disc directly.

calboy98: i can't save anything... cause VobSub quits before i can get there.

gabest: My drive is not unlocked (you mean for region free drive, i think?!) Could be this my problem? Anyway i tried what you told. I've started PowerDVD XP4, then open "rundll32 vobsub.dll,Configure", but error still remains... (i put the exact

i have only one way => region free patch (firmware upgrade)????
i didn't do firmware upgrade, cause my drive is brand new, and it has warranty about till one year long...
