Nutzen von Ogg 5.1 ? (sorry, german!)

ich habe das hier gelesen, über Ogg 5.1, wie steht Ihr dazu?

Jeder der sich ne Dolby Digital 5.1/AC3-Anlage gekauft hat, kann die nämlich dann vergessen wenn er einen externen AC3 Decoder benutzt, weil dieser mit sicherheit OGG 5.1 nicht kennen wird und es somit nicht dekodieren kann. Du solltest also lieber bei AC3 bleiben, oder wenn du keine 5.1-Anlage hast halt auf ein Stereo-Format umsatteln.

now my oppinion :


hmm....anyone who could use the OGG 5.1 format must have a soundcard with 3 line-outs, and I think, these guys wont use an ac3 output to an external decoder, because they allready have an internal one...

anyone who wants to feed an external decoder will ever use ac3 and anyone else wont have any problems with ogg 5.1
