I was amazed by the results of Gknot.
Before I used Xmpeg en there was much trouble for AC3.
Now with Gknot there was no trouble at all just the getting to know the program trouble.
But now I understand it and I followed the Divx4 Gknot guide.
I'm so happy.
I ripped Tarzan.
The file is 1.27gb which is good for me because the image is very good and the sound is AC3.
Now I have a little question.
Isn't there anyway I can let reading my Pioneer 16x at 16x because I only get 6x in SmartRipper?

About ripping speed - go to see the FAQ in the Decrypting forum. The question is answered there - at the very end.

i think you will never get the max speed from you dvd-rom. dvd-rom's like cd-rom's get the highest ripping speeds only at the end of an cd.

Go to a site that makes the program cdspeed.

This site will tell you how well dvds perform based on many criteria. FYI: My drive is only an 8x drive but ripps max at 6x or more.
