I am thinking about buying DV-Storm but don't know if it is the best capture/editing card on the market for $900. Also, does any body have professional equipment that they would like to sell for a good price?:)

Hi there,

I saw the Datavideo Technologies DAC-2 DV/Y.U.V. Converter elsewhere on the forum and it looks quite hot :)

With This and a firewire card you would have a pretty kickass capture system.

Not really.
The Pinnacle Pro-One or the Canopud DV Storm give you real time editing options as well as Analog and DV I/O
With a A/D converter like the canopus ABDV or Dazzel Hollywood DV bridg you can capture your material using a cheap fire wire card, but you work in software mode, what makes work much more hard, long, anoing and more.

Totaly diferant level.
