Does anyone know if this is possible? I've ripped a DVD and put the AC3 file in the divx file and am trying to get the Dolby Digital 5.1 sound played through WMP. I followed the guide and was able to get the S/PDIF out enabled but my setup isn't through that. Is there any way to get a DVD player, WMP, or any player to recognize the AC3 track and allow me to select the 6 channel audio and not the S/PDIF? If anyone knows how to do this it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

Also in following the AVI/AC3 guide, the path remover fix for graphedit didn't work. If you leave it in the same directory it does, but once you move it the graphedit file doesn't work. I saw one other person post here saying they had this problem. Anyone know why? Thanks again.

So you want to use the 6ch analogs if I understand correctly. Go to your sound control panel and make sure it's set to 6 speakers first of all.

If your using a SoundBlaster then I'm afraid I can't help you with the LiveWare settings. You can use BSplayer and while the movie is playing, right click on the window select properties. You should be able to click the InterVideo Audio filter. When the dialog pops up then select 6 speaker mode as well. Other players should allow you to access the filter properties as well. I doubt WiMP does, not sure as I've never really used it(to many other better players).
