Decomb Vs. Ivtc and deinterlace in Gknot

I was wondering if anyone tested decomb extensively, since i tested it with some clips / trailers, and it performed much better than the "common" deinterlace and ivtc included in gknot.

Check out the "New IVTC for Avisynth" thread in the avisynth forum. I personally like decomb much more then the 'standard' IVTC/deinterlacing options but I haven’t done much in the way of extensive tests and mostly use it on anime (where I believe the improvements are even more obvious).
hope others offer their opinons.
