Hi all !!

Well, I was wondering if integrating the chapter information into the OGG file is possible/useful :confused:

IMHO chapters are very popular on standard DVDs and I would like see a comparable feature together with the OGG file container :)

PowerDivX player allows you to make small chapter files ( simply text files ) for your movies, whatever format they are.

I am not sure about Ogg, but MCF will have chapters ...

It should be possible. The file you speak of contians the seek points right Christian? So it should work even if you are dooing local ASF or OGG. But MCFs embedded info will be excelent as well.

There will be chapter support for Ogg within the next weeks. Please have a look on http://tobias.everwicked.com -> Ogg/Vorbis
