View Full Version : Problem with new Ogg Subtitle DSF

I still have problems with the new version of the subtitle DSF.

When I mux Video + Vorbis-Audio everything works fine, but when I mux Video + Vorbis-Audio + Subtitle I get an error during playback. It's in my own language, but translates something like: "This pin cannot use the selected mediatype". That's what WMP says anyway, PowerDivX just hangs.
The above tells me the problem lies with the subtitle file. I have ripped my subtitle file with SubRip and it looks completely normal to me. I even saved it as ANSI text to rule out bad file format, but still I get the same error.

I know I am using the correct muxing sequence, and even the playback sequence looks normal in GraphEdit.

The previous version of the filter didn't work for me because I'm not not using WinXP (I'm on Win98SE), I knew this, and thus was very glad to see the update. But now I still can't watch my videos.
I also have Ogg DSF v0985 installed.

Anyone know what's wrong?

I've got the same problem. If I press play again in wmp after forwarding video a bit i t shows a video up-side-down and also as a mirror image(i can tell this because subtitles looks like mirrored). In BSplay video play normally but without subtitles.

maybe i should watch my movies from mirror standing upsidedown ;)

oh, and i'm using w2000 with newest filters (985 for video and 1.1.0 for subs)

I have the very same problem on my Win98SE box and no problem at all on WinXP (Prof).
